Well like the title says, its 5:07, and my day has finished. Oh wait i still have play practice. Yeah im in play. Again. My very good friend Jerry is putting it together and it is something else. I dont get the play, but its always fun to be in plays. So its been a while since ive updated and im very sorry for that. But lets get back into the swing of things. I feel that you and I are at the point in our relationship where we can just pick up where we left off. So with out further adieu. Finally there is a new SModcast . Ive waited and waited and finally Kevin and Scott. Every time they post a new one, im just like pavlov's dog, i salivate when ever that bell of a post is rung. This one funny (as they always are) but this time it was Scott who took up most of the time. I actually enjoy Scott more now that Kevin is kinda turning into a pott head. Its not that i dont like pott heads its just that i find Mosier funnier. Hes the man behind the fat one. Not a really hard feat. This week the main story was about almost getting eaten by a shark . Which if you followed smdcast any, youd know that Kevin has a GIANT fear of sharks. I have to follow the fat man on this one. Just stay out of water, and until they can walk on land i really cant worry too much. But the you do have to worry about land sharks . So lately Luke, Robert, (sometimes) Jerry and I have been watching horror movies in the spirt of All Hallows Eve, and boy do i love it. People if you get a chance this month, make one of your weekends a monster movie marathon. Nothing but you, the TV and the crazy blood drinking monster behind you. Sometimes i feel thats what heavens going to be like. Ill get to the pearly gates and St Peter will be all "Roberto for the work you did curing cancer and AIDS, here is your gift". And then he opens up the gates and inside waiting for me is every B-movie ever made. I shed a single tear, b/c i know this is right. Maybe one day, maybe. The last true b-movie i saw was Troll 2 and it brought me back to my glory days. The days when id troll (pun intended) the bargain dollar movie bins looking for that right movie that would make me want to kill myself after. Well im pretty sure you all know this by know and i really am scared of becoming a record on repeat. Speaking of which. Im going to start buying vinyl . Luke started buying and now i feel its something i should also. Ill tell you how it all goes next Monday (hopefully). And now to the part you came here for. This weeks top five.
5. Jet Packs - At what point did we give up on the dream? At what point did we say "Hey you know let give up on the idea of personal flying machines"? Humanity, SHAME. This was supposed to be my future. This was supposed to be my reality. I was supposed to wake up every morning, eat some breakfast, kiss my kids and wife goodbye, and then strap on my Turbo Lift 9000. Then as i was heading to work some guy would cut me off on the sky highway. I would get to work and tell Murphy who bad the fliers have gotten. Now ill never get that. Now Murphy will never get to hear my stories. How sad.
4. Scott Pilgrim - There arent many things that get me. The real essences of me. Well there are bears, but thats later. But there is Scott Pilgrim. I nice little story that tells the tale of a 23 year old man (OH MY GOD im 23) who falls for a mysterious woman. The problem comes when he most defeat her 7 evil ex boyfriends to finally be with her. Its like someone took my life and put woords to it. Then they drew it. Then they published it, then i bought it. Its a really nice story which you should invest time into.
3. Rangers - I ask you, what is the most beautiful thing you can think of? Ill wait till you think of something. Got it? Well now punch it in the stomach cus nothing can compare to the 2008 Ford Ranger. What can i say, nothing is more sexy, bold and has sooooo much in-your-faceness. Granted yes there are cars out there and society say are more pretty, but i dont roll that way. Ladies you know what im talking about.
2. Doctor Who - WOW did you all see the end of series 4. What can i say the Doctor IS in. Man I love this show. I just love how many people in Harding have learned to love the show like i have. I like to think of myself as the one who started all the Doctor love. Yeah im going to go out on a limb and say i started it all. It was me. I cant explain the show to you in a few sentences (An alien man travels through time and space solving problems. wow i actually can.) So i ask you to take some time out of your busy schedule and watch an episode. You wont regret it.
1. Bears - Ok i think we all saw this one coming. I really dont think i have to explain to you why bears are in the number one spot this week. They just are. Ever since Luke gave me the toy bear ive had them on my mind.
So now we get to the point in our show where i put a recommendation from one of my friends. Todays recommendation comes from Jess Briggs. She'd like us all to head over to Live Journal "I'm on it all the time. It takes up most of my life." I cant personally say that ive used it (seeing how im using this one) so ill give this recommendation 2 out of 5. Try it and see. Tell me what you think. Well untill next time i see you. Please do you part, save a bear. Kisses.
